Kim Hyun Joong announces plans for a Japanese tour !!


SS501’s Kim Hyun Joong successfully completed his Japanese showcase on July 29th at the JEPP Tokyo.

Over 1,800 fans and reporters from 200 different media outlets showed up for the promotional “Break Down“ event. Although Kim Hyun Joong performed in Japan before with SS501, it was his first time appearing as a soloist. “Even so, I’m not nervous,” he said as he smiled at the crowd.

After performing a total of seven songs, the 4D leader cracked up the audience as he confessed, “I want to sing more, but I don’t have any more songs to sing.”

Concluding the concert, he revealed, “In response to all of the Japanese fans who showed so much love for my solo album, I will be planning a nationwide tour in Japan.”

Kim Hyun Joong will be releasing his second solo album this fall, and will embark on a seven-city tour across Japan in November.

2PM reveals “I’m Your Man” jacket photos !!



Idol group 2PM have revealed the album jacket photos for their second Japanese single, “I’m Your Man“!
The photos expose the album jackets of both the single’s normal and the limited edition versions. The members are found dressed in fitted black suits that give them the look of suave, yet youthful gentlemen. The image matches well with the lyrics, which is about a man who seeks to protect a person that’s precious to him.
According to a JYP Japan representative,
After these jacket photos were released, anticipation regarding [2PM's] new activities in the Japanese music industry has esclated. ‘I’m Your Man’ is a song in which you can feel 2PM’s refined, yet firm masculinity. Please anticipate a variety of stage performances including choreography that utilizes their neckties.
While fans got a taste of the MV yesterday, the full video will be unveiled on 2PM’s official Japanese homepage on August 1st. The album will be released on August 17th.

Lee Junki assists in flood relief efforts ♥ ★



Currently enlisted with Korea’s military service, actor Lee Junki recently pitched in to aid with flood recovery operations.
On July 28th, the Defense Media Agency posted a message on their blog under the title, “Promotional support crew on-site for flood recovery”, along with several photos of Korea’s servicemen assisting in flood relief efforts.
The Defense Media Agency said, “To help restore The National Center for Korean Traditional Performing Arts (NCKTPA) from the effects of the flood, we sent support to the foot of Woomyun Mountain.”
In their photos, the promotional crew is seen doing what they can to help the relief effort. Lee Junki was spotted in a couple of the photos, drawing mass attention from netizens.
They commented, “Everyone is going through a hard time”, “It would be great if the recovery operations were completed soon”, “[Lee Junki] always shows a sincere image”, and “Be careful of poor weather conditions and be strong.”
Lee Junki is scheduled to return from the army in early 2012.
